Where the build stands
Two groups of villa fronds are under way. The first, Fronds K to P, started earlier and is well ahead. Both sets of figures come from official regulator inspections published by the developer.

When can people move in?
The developer says the first villa handovers come later in 2026, in phases, with no single opening date. The 544 villas on Fronds A to F have a contract completion target of Q4 2028. The rest of the island will take longer.
How is it different from Palm Jumeirah?
It is roughly twice the land area, has about 41% more coastline, and is planned at lower density. Palm Jumeirah is complete and established, while Palm Jebel Ali is under construction.
How do I know how far along it is?
The figures on this page come from regulator inspections that the developer publishes for each project. Check the original page for the newest reading, and compare it with the date shown here.
Is there a metro or rail link?
No rail link to the island has been confirmed in the sources reviewed. The island sits next to Jebel Ali and the E11 Sheikh Zayed Road, and is close to Expo City and Al Maktoum Airport.
What does a home cost?
